U14 Basketball Competitive Fixtures

Published: 21/12/2017 11:14:00 | Category: Basketball

The under-14 basketball team have had a very promising start to the season, achieving some very pleasing results along the way. In total, 16 students have participated for the team in varying capacities, with numbers taking up the sport growing all the time. Further to this, the students involved are enjoying playing the game and are showing a real determination to improve as performers and qualify for the National Knock-Out rounds in February.

The team lost to Arnold Hill Academy in September by 17 points but have since gone on to achieve some fantastic results. The team outclassed a very strong Nottingham Academy team by 42 points and then secured victory against King’s School with a team comprised of only Year 8 students. The team then beat Minster School and St George’s Academy (under-16s) by 30 points each respectively.
